At FPC, we form Ministry Teams comprised of church leaders and lay members to lead and organize our various ministries.  These teams help our church ministries run efficiently, allow members a focused way to use their gifts and expertise, give congregants the opportunity to mature in ministry and leadership, and help the overall church  stay focused on our vision of seeing “More people, more like Christ.”

Below is a list of our Ministry Teams.  After reading through this list, feel free to contact any of the people listed with any questions.

Prayer Team

Since there are so many activities going on at FPC (and especially between two  campuses!), communication is key. This team ensures that information is properly disseminated.  If you enjoy writing, connecting, using social media, and using any other communications tools, please help us out!  Contact: Jen Whiteacre

Christian Education Team

In order to become more like our Lord Jesus Christ, we must exchange the mindset of the world for a Christian worldview in areas such as marriage, workplace, finances, friendships, and the environment. This team facilitates Biblical training in these areas through focused Sunday School classes, special speakers, conferences, and other events.  Please consider joining this team if you love to teach, organize, research educational material, or just enjoy working with people of all ages.  Contacts: John Truschel (Adults); Jonathan Wells, Katherine Cook (High School); Matt and Iana Ostrowski (Middle School); Sue Mulley (Elementary)

Audio/Visual Creative Team

The primary focus of the A/V Creative Team is to enhance our worship services through the creative use of audio and visual technology. We seek to emphasize and integrate the core elements of the worship service (e.g. preaching, singing, scripture reading, etc.) in a non-distracting and creative manner that encourages the congregation to focus on God.  We need sound technicians to operate our state-of-the-art digital mixing system, projection technicians to build and operate the worship “slide deck”, and video camera operators.  No prior experience is necessary, but a general level of comfort with technology is preferred.  Anyone age 16 and up can participate as a core team member, but younger folks are also welcome to train as apprentices.  Contact: Rich Mulley

The Children’s Ministries Team partners with parents to train children to glorify God and to enjoy him forever!  Our desire is to see all children have the opportunity to know God and hear the gospel!  In addition to working with children, this team offers a broad variety of creative and organizational opportunities to serve.   Contact: Sue Mulley

Welcome and Integration Team

This team seeks to present a friendly and welcoming face to everyone who comes to worship at FPC on Sunday mornings. We hope to be able to provide information to visitors, and to help newcomers get integrated into our church community.  This is a great way to meet people in the church and it’s not just a team for extroverts – please consider helping out.  Contact: Katie Donworth

Local Outreach Team

Working in conjunction with the Local Missions Committee, this team encourages and facilitates FPC attendees to participate in local outreach and service opportunities in Danvers and throughout the North Shore.  This team offers a broad variety of ways to serve, so chances are you have a skill we need.  Contact: Laurie Truschel
